The profile of the participating institution and its area of activity, in particular highlighting the elements relevant to the project:

HUNGARY:

Our Kindergarten Benedek Elek in Paks, currently operates in three member institutions. Our pedagogical program aims at child-centrism to protect, educate and develop children in a loving and safe kindergarten atmosphere, according to individual abilities. Programs defining the foster work of the kindergarten:

-Kindergarten education with games and tales,

-Kindergarten education with the tools of Arts Alternative program,

-Environmental education with Freinet elements.


Our kindergarten has already participated three times in international cooperation in the framework of previous Coménius school collaborations. We want to re-apply for 6 years of international experience, this time with the role of coordinator.

LATVIA:

Since 2015, Babite Preschool School has been involved in the Eco School program. Our main approach is outdoor nature education. We also use Orff approach in music education. Children come from various ethnic backgrounds: Latvian, Russian, Lithuanian and mixed families. To provide best learning opportunities for our students we offer some extra activities: English, ceramics, dance and judo.The preschool has a landscaped, green area with orchards, playgrounds, sandboxes, sheds. The forest and the Rhododendron Park are nearby. Playing outdoors helps children to develop their learning abilities. By putting educational equipment outdoors, children are soon learning through play, which is a fun way of helping children to learn new information and skills. The quality of pedagogical work is a key factor affecting the successful development of a child. 

SPAIN:

Our Educational Project's objective is to train and educate of all our students under the criterion of respect, the individuality of the human being and the need to belong to a group. It is a non-authoritarian Educational Project, conceived to train critical, conscious, autonomous and responsible people respectful of diversity and the environment and facilitators of inclusion. Our school is connected with local, cultural and educational institutions in Valencia, in Spain and in Europe. The school Les Carolines looks for other European realities to work with, to learn and share educational experiences. So far we have done student exchanges with other European institutions and we consider it very interesting to integrate further into the network of schools in Europe to continue growing and deepening in miscegenation, diversity, and union. Other approaches which feed the pedagogic backbone (PBL) are the PLE (Personal Learning Environments) and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) some non-linguistic subjects, such as art, are taught in English.

SWEDEN:

Montessori pedagogy is the foundation for the whole business and it makes Säbyholm unique in the municipality of Landskrona. The preschool is authorized by the Swedish Montessori Association and the approval is a quality mark that the company annually applies for. Cooperations with other preschools and to develop the teachers work with the children. To be inspired by different preschool and cultures. Develop our preschool and to help other school to develop their work outdoors, exchanges knowledge. 

We have got an outdoor educator that we can consul and who have lessens with us about working and learn outdoors with the children. All the staff have got education in Montessori pedagogy.

FINLAND:

We are interested in international cooperation with other schools. This project will be an idea and tool pack to our teachers. The theme of this project supports the objectives of our local curriculum. We want to encrease physical activity, less sitting for school day. Also different learning environments is one of our topics. Our pedagogs are used to work as a team. This will help us take through this project.

We have children with special needs integrated in our ordinary classes so we are used to finding different ways to teach different children.

One of our teachers have earlier worked in an english kindergarten. She has experience of international cooperation.

TURKEY:

Turkish, Art, Drama, Music, Movement, Game, Science, Mathematics, Reading and Writing Preparation and Field Trip activities are carried out at the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Basic Education. Besides these activities, activities such as Traditional Children's Games, Chess, English, Mind games are being done. At the same time, our school has implemented Minor Theme, Nutrition Friendly School, Values Education, Eco-Schools, Book Kurdu, E-twinning, Coding Projects, Family Participation Activities and Family Education Studies.

Our mission is from 3 years to 6 years old with integrity and observing individual differences; innovative, constantly active learners, social, national and international citizens with a conscious. Our motivation to participate in this project is to realize our mission and vision, to improve the European dimension of our school. We have a Project Execution Team at our school. The people in our project team have already done national and international projects and have been trained in European Union project preparation techniques.


Our goals are:

- Children experience the proximity of nature, to be amazed by their beauty.

- Increase the duration of children's stay in free air-to become a demand for movement in nature.

- Become commonplace using natural materials. They see that the living parts of nature live longer in their creations and in their objects of use.

- With partner countries, to acquire knowledge about the nature of kindergarten children in different parts of Europe, the content of their natural education and the possibilities of moving outdoors. We will replace our existing good practices.

- Through the realisation of the tasks of the project, the professional knowledge of the educators and the development of their methodological culture will be expanded.

- To know each other's cultural values (folk dances, folk songs, folk games, food) activities organised for children through international journeys.

- Encourage families through children to spend more active leisure time

- Strengthening the European dimension through our joint activities.
